How quickly do shifts get filled?
Every qualified worker within travelling distance is told the moment you post, and the first to accept gets it. A place can only ever be taken once, so a shift is never double-booked. You can also offer a shift to workers you already know.
How are pay rates worked out?
Automatically. Award base rates, weekend and overnight loadings, allowances and GST are computed to the cent. You never touch a rate sheet, and the number is shown before anyone accepts.
Are the workers actually verified?
Yes. We check every worker by hand before approval — AHPRA registration for nurses, police and NDIS worker screening checks, qualifications, immunisations and work rights. Expiry dates are tracked, and a worker whose documents lapse stops being offered shifts until they are renewed.
How does invoicing work?
Every approved shift for the week rolls into one GST tax invoice, line by line, each traceable to a shift. Payment is due within 7 days. Workers are paid weekly, whether or not an invoice has been paid yet.
Who employs the workers?
Fox Care does. Workers are engaged by Fox Care as casual employees and paid award-based rates with super, so providers get qualified staff without taking on payroll.
What do I need to start as a worker?
Your registration or qualification for the roles you work, a current police check, work rights, and the screening checks your roles need. You upload them in the app and we tell you exactly what is missing.
What does it cost to join?
Nothing to sign up, for either side. Providers pay only for shifts that are worked, at the price shown before posting. There is no subscription, no lock-in and no per-seat fee.
